Connect Cloutly to Claude or ChatGPT (Connected AI)
Connected AI lets you ask your own AI assistant questions about your reviews and get answers from your live Cloutly data. It works through the Cloutly MCP server, the standard way AI assistants connect to other software.

What are customers complaining about most in the last 90 days?
Find every review that mentions parking.

What it can do
Read your data. This is switched on when you connect.
Review counts, ratings, response rates and trends, compared across time periods or locations
Search the text of your reviews
Your weekly, monthly or quarterly Report, with a link to open it in Cloutly
Listing details for your locations: name, phone, website, description, address and hours
Issues and themes from Signals, if your account has Signals
Make changes. These are off unless you tick them when you connect, and you approve every change in Cloutly before it happens.
Report changes: change how often your Report is sent, or add, edit, reorder and remove pinned cards
Listing changes: update name, phone, website, description, address and hours for up to 20 locations at a time
Export data. Ask for a spreadsheet and the assistant will prepare a CSV. It takes a few minutes, and you download it from a page in Cloutly.
Before you start
Connected AI is included on the Growth and Power plans. On another plan, message us to ask about access.
It works with Claude and ChatGPT.
It isn't available on white-label accounts.
Connect Claude
In Cloutly, go to Settings → Account → Connected AI and copy the connector address.
In Claude, open Settings → Connectors, choose Add custom connector and paste the address. On a Claude Team or Enterprise plan, an owner of your Claude organisation may need to add it first.
Claude sends you to Cloutly to sign in. Choose which locations it can see and what it can do, then approve.
Go back to Claude and ask a question.
Using Claude Code? Run claude mcp add --transport http cloutly https://mcp.cloutly.com/mcp, then run /mcp to sign in.
Connect ChatGPT
In Cloutly, go to Settings → Account → Connected AI and copy the connector address.
In ChatGPT, open Settings → Apps & Connectors. Under Advanced settings, turn on Developer mode.
Choose Create, name the connector Cloutly, paste the address and choose OAuth for authentication.
ChatGPT sends you to Cloutly to sign in. Choose which locations it can see and what it can do, then approve.
Start a new chat, turn on the Cloutly connector and ask a question.
Custom connectors need a paid ChatGPT plan. On ChatGPT Business or Enterprise, a workspace admin may need to add the connector first.
How changes are approved
When you ask the assistant to change something, it prepares the change and gives you a link. Open the link to see exactly what will change, before and after, then approve or decline it in Cloutly. Nothing changes until you approve. The link expires after 15 minutes, so if you miss it, just ask again.
Only the account owner can change the Report.
Who can see what
Each team member connects their own assistant and signs in as themselves. It can only see the locations they chose when connecting.
The account owner can see every assistant connected to the account and disconnect any of them.
The account owner can switch off Report changes or Listing changes for every assistant on the account. Reading is not affected.
Disconnect an assistant
Go to Settings → Account → Connected AI and click Disconnect on the connection. The assistant loses access straight away.
